Sierra Leone Sports: SLYTO qualify to quarter-final stage

SLYTO was the other team that booked their place in the quarter-final stage of the Mayor’s trophy on Tuesday evening after they played to a goalless draw with FC Seattle.

Ibrahim Sesay said that FC Seattle was desperate to win but they were unable to break the defence of SLYTO to register a vital win. They should have see them through to the quarter-final stage.

During the match, both teams displayed a very good performance that pleased the fans. At the end of the match, SLYTO secured five points while their point FC Seattle who failed to win secured four points, which was not enough for them to qualify.
Sheku Turay said the competition will continue today with Santino, the group C leader who have secured two wins from two matches played they will play against Real friends who have bowed out of the competition after losing two matches consecutively.
The quarter-final stage is expected to start over the weekend. awoko
