FC Johansen Visit Madonkeh


Premier league outfit FC Johansen (FCJ) has paid a visit to Madonkeh Village (Newton) to establish youth football development partnership.

Speaking at the occasion Isha Johansen who doubles as the Sierra Leone Football Association President, said she was delighted over the warmth reception.

She said it was her desire to expand the team’s talent spotting program to different parts of the country so as to ensure that football brings out the much desired change in the lives of the youth.

“Football can change the lives of young people in any society, especially a deprived community like this, where young people want to achieve their dreams,” she stated.

Over the past years, FC Johansen has been travelling with young players to different countries in the world engaging in youth tournaments and exchange programs which she describes as successful. “To me talent spotting has added a flesh of credibility to the club at all levels”, she boasted.
