Students with Special Needs, FBC campus have taken Ministry of Education to Legal Aid Board. According to the students, Ministry of Education under the leadership of Minkailu Bah refused them the right to enjoy Free Tertiary Education. The students said, they took the complaints to the National Commission for Persons with Disability since January this year, but they could not solve it.
They said, examinations will commence on Thursday, 3rd May, 2018. Up to now, they said, they have not registered. The students Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Mr. Pierce said, he cannot write to FBC administration to allow the students to register, because he had received no directive to do so from his boss.
The Students said, they believe Legal Aid Board can help settle the matter since the National Commission for Persons with Disability has not solved the problem for the past years. They called on the Legal Aid Board and the Government to fast track the process so that they will sit to their exams.
