Former Resident Minister under probe over alleged stolen items

Former Residents Minister North, Honorable Alie D.Kamara has been arrested over allegations of carrying looted items being property of the Republic of Sierra Leone.

The former minister was intercepted on Sunday August 19, 2018 at the Lungi International Airport with two transformers which sources claimed to be transformers from the Lokomasama hospital.

Mr. Kamara was traveling on a vehicle with registration number AMY 234 also alleged to be a former government vehicle which is now carrying a commercial alpha numeric plate.

The matter was reported by the current Resident Minister for the North West region Honorable Haja Isata Abdulai Kamara to the Port Loko police station.

The former residents minister is presently under custody helping with police investigation.
