Five new charges and two more people have been added to the corruption case in last year’s Hajj. It brings to five the indictees and eight the charges proffered by the Anti Corruption Commission.
The two are Minkailu Mansaray who was head of the Hajj Committee and a cabinet minister, and a man called Fakeh who was an aide to the former president. The two will join the former Vice President, Victor Foh and others to be arraigned on Wednesday 22 August. The indictment has been served on all five and the allegations range from misappropriation of public funds to conspiracy.
