Police & anti-corruption investigators in Sierra Leone are obtaining statement from 71 people caught in an alleged exam malpractice.
In addition to the question papers & answer booklets, the exhibits include loads of condoms & DRAGON believed to be an aphrodisiac spray.
They were writing the West African Senior Secondary School Exams which would grant entrance to study into the university.
Examiners and some higher education authorities are also said to be involved in the syndicate which had many opined is responsible for the drastic falling of educational standards in the country.
The 23 females and 48 males spent the night at the CID headquarters after a joint sting operation by the Anti Corruption Commission and police caught them
rewriting their school-leaving WASSCE exams in a house at Aberdeen Road.
It’s not clear how many WAEC examiners were nabbed with them.
