The device was launched on October 5, 2026, and will begin selling in India on October 11. Its starting price is ₹38,999, equivalent to about $402. Oppo also unveiled the more expensive Oppo F35 Pro alongside the standard model.
Battery and camera features
Oppo is marketing the F35 as its “Group Selfie Expert”, highlighting the front camera’s wide field of view. The 50MP selfie camera includes autofocus, a feature intended to keep faces sharp in group photographs.
The phone has an 8,000mAh battery and supports 80W charging. Oppo’s claims about battery performance should be considered alongside factors such as screen brightness, network signal and usage patterns.
Oppo says the front and rear cameras will support 2.5K video recording at 30 frames per second through a future software update. The 4K video capability shown in the company’s advertising applies to the F35 Pro, rather than the standard F35.
Protection and software
Oppo says the F35’s IP68 protection includes a fresh-water test at a depth of 1.5 metres for 30 minutes, as well as protection against dust and strong water jets. Water resistance can decline as a device ages, and the phone should be kept away from seawater.
The F35 includes AI tools for scanning documents and editing photographs, although some features may depend on the user’s region or arrive in later updates. 91mobiles reports that the phone runs Android 16 with ColorOS 16, while Oppo’s specification page lists ColorOS 16 but does not state the Android version.
Oppo has also advertised up to five years of “smooth for years” use for 128GB phones, based on laboratory tests. The company has not announced how many Android upgrades or years of security updates the F35 will receive.
Nigeria availability remains unclear
Oppo has not announced a Nigerian launch date or local price for the F35. The company’s Nigerian website had no F35 listing when checked on October 7, 2026.
Availability and pricing in Kenya, Ghana and South Africa are also unconfirmed. Buyers in those markets may therefore need to wait for an announcement from Oppo or an approved local seller. Imported phones could cost more than the Indian price because of shipping, duties, exchange rates and seller margins.
The standard F35 retains a memory card slot that is not included on the F35 Pro. Its box contains a charger, USB cable, protective case and SIM ejector tool. The phone is available in Wave Blue, Titanium Grey and Mist Pink.
The F35 arrives as Oppo marks ten years of its F series in India, which began with the Oppo F1 in 2016. It uses the same chipset as the Oppo F33, which launched in April 2026 at ₹31,999.
