The Presidency newsletter highlights Bio administration’s governance and development agenda

The ninth edition of The Presidency newsletter has presented a review of reported government activities under President Julius Maada Bio, covering governance, diplomacy, youth empowerment, infrastructure and national development.

Youth leadership and national development

Youth empowerment is another focus of the edition. The newsletter said President Bio engaged young African leaders and hosted the Julius Maada Bio Leadership Colloquium.

The colloquium emphasised youth empowerment, innovation, accountability and inclusive leadership. The publication did not identify the young African leaders who took part.

The edition also featured the commissioning of the Manowa Bridge in Kailahun. The project was described as strengthening connectivity, trade and rural development in the area.
