The F35 starts at ₹38,999, equivalent to about $402. Oppo launched the higher-priced F35 Pro alongside the standard model, but has not announced a Nigerian price or release date for the F35.
Availability remains unclear in Africa
Oppo’s Nigerian website did not show a listing for the F35 when checked on October 7. The company’s websites for Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa also showed no F35 listing at that time, while no confirmed launch in Ghana was found.
This leaves the phone’s availability in those markets unconfirmed. Oppo has not provided launch dates or local prices for Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana or South Africa.
Battery and camera features
Oppo is marketing the F35 as its “Group Selfie Expert”, highlighting the 50MP wide front camera. The handset comes with an 8,000mAh battery, the same battery capacity used by the F35 Pro, along with 80W charging.
Oppo says 2.5K video recording at 30 frames per second for both the front and rear cameras will be added through a software update. The 4K video shown in the company’s advertisements is associated with the F35 Pro rather than the standard F35.
The F35 is available in Wave Blue, Titanium Grey and Mist Pink. Unlike the F35 Pro, the standard model includes a memory card slot. The retail box contains a charger, USB cable, protective case and SIM ejector tool.
Software support not yet detailed
Oppo’s specification page lists ColorOS 16 for the F35, while 91mobiles reports that the phone runs Android 16 with ColorOS 16. Oppo has not stated how many Android upgrades or years of security updates the device will receive.
The company claims that 128GB phones such as the F35 can remain “smooth for years”, based on laboratory testing. That claim relates to performance and does not represent a promise of software updates.
Position in the F series
The launch marks ten years of Oppo’s F series in India, which began with the Oppo F1 in 2016. The F35 uses the same chipset as the Oppo F33, which launched on April 15, 2026, at ₹31,999, or about $330.
At the base level, the F35 costs ₹7,000 more than the F33. The F35 Pro’s version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at ₹54,999, or about $567.
Oppo has listed launch offers running from September 28 to October 21, although Indian shop prices may differ from the stated launch prices. The availability of some software features may also vary by region or depend on later updates.
