The six-day conference was held from October 6 to 11, 2026, at Miracle City on Ross Road in Cline Town, Freetown. Organized by the ministry’s Women’s Department under the theme “EMERGE,” the gathering featured worship, prayer, teaching and fellowship.
Support for registered participants
The free shopping exercise took place on Friday, October 9, within the church compound. Fully registered women who had participated from the opening day through Friday were eligible, according to Rev. (Mrs.) Irene Cole, the ministry’s International Women’s Supervisor and Co-General Overseer and the conference’s chief convener.
Each eligible woman received between three and four items. The available support included 25-kilogram bags of rice, cloth, shoes and ladies’ bags. Rechargeable speakers were also provided for pastors.
Cole said the initiative was intended to offer practical assistance while encouraging women to maintain their participation in the annual conference.
“This is an effort to encourage women to participate every year in the conference and also to give back to women across the country,” she said.
Beneficiaries from several communities
Participants came from Freetown and communities including Kailahun, Bo, Kenema, Bonthe, Pujehun, Kabala, Makeni and Kambia, as well as from Liberia and The Gambia.
The shopping items were secured through contributions from well-wishers and members of the ministry’s Women’s Department. Cole thanked those who supported the initiative and said organizers intend to improve the programme further in the coming year.
The number of beneficiaries was higher than at the programme’s inaugural distribution in 2025, when 150 women received support, Cole disclosed.
Conference programme
Rev. (Mrs.) Felicia Neufville of Monrovia, Liberia, delivered the keynote address. Cole served as chief convener while carrying out her ministry responsibilities as International Women’s Supervisor and Co-General Overseer.
The conference concluded on Sunday, October 11. Several beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the assistance and prayed for the continuation of both the annual gathering and the free shopping initiative.
