Orange Sierra Leone Chief Executive Officer Aïcha Touré has completed a five-day nationwide listening tour aimed at gathering feedback from customers, business partners, local authorities and communities.
The tour took place from 27 to 31 July 2026, with Touré accompanied by members of the company’s senior management team. The delegation visited Port Loko, Western Area Urban and Rural, Makeni, Kono, Kenema and Bo.
Engagements involved customers, distributors, sales partners, traditional and civic leaders, mayors, local authorities, traders and other members of the public. Discussions covered the company’s products and services, network reliability, customer service, business opportunities and Orange Sierra Leone’s contribution to communities outside Freetown.
Feedback on services and regional operations
According to the report on the tour, customers and business partners highlighted achievements as well as areas requiring improvement. The discussions provided company leadership with an opportunity to assess service delivery, network performance and customer expectations in different parts of the country.
Touré said direct engagement was important for understanding the experiences of customers and partners.
“Meeting our customers, partners and local leaders face-to-face allows us to better understand their realities and expectations. Listening, learning and identifying opportunities for improvement provide the kind of insights that lead to better business decisions and stronger relationships,” she said.
Orange Sierra Leone also provided additional operational support for its trade teams, including kekes, motorbikes and Hilux vehicles. The company said the resources would help its field teams reach customers and sales partners more efficiently and strengthen service delivery across the regions.
Market visits and local authority engagements
During visits to local markets, the delegation interacted with traders, customers and other members of the public. Orange-branded souvenirs were distributed during those engagements.
The team also made courtesy visits to provincial authorities and other strategic stakeholders. Mayors in Port Loko, Makeni and Bo encouraged Orange Sierra Leone to consider supporting city beautification projects through its corporate social responsibility initiatives.
The local authorities also called for sustained CSR investment. Orange Sierra Leone said management would review the recommendations and consider practical responses in line with its strategic objectives and available resources.
Touré said the company’s work in Sierra Leone included expanding connectivity and providing digital services.
“Orange is in Sierra Leone to connect people in every corner of the country and improve lives through reliable connectivity and innovative digital services. We remain committed to working closely with our partners and communities to address challenges, strengthen our network and continue delivering the quality of service our customers expect,” she said.
Orange Sierra Leone said the feedback from the tour would help shape future priorities in service delivery, customer satisfaction and business growth. The company also reaffirmed its commitment to improving service quality, strengthening its network and working with communities and partners.
