Sierra Leone Foreign Minister Sets Out Diplomatic Priorities

Sierra Leone’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has outlined the government’s diplomatic priorities, placing economic diplomacy, international cooperation and the welfare of Sierra Leoneans abroad among the key areas of focus.

The priorities were presented at the minister’s maiden Diplomatic Briefing, held at the Foreign Service Academy on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. The gathering brought together members of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps, heads of international organisations, government officials, ministry staff, media representatives and civil-society representatives.
Foreign policy linked to national development
