GOSL and EU are working together to build 14km of road in Freetown

The Government of Sierra Leone and the European Union are constructing a 14km road in Freetown, the state capital, as part of their development cooperation.

 

Road construction can start from the second toll plaza, Makolo Junction, via Songo to Mabang Bridge.

 

According to Ambrose James, director of the Sierra Leone National Licensing Authority, which supports development cooperation between the Sierra Leone government and the European Union, operations will begin on November 1, 2023, marking the beginning and official launch set. . By the Delegation of the European Union and the Government of Sierra Leone on 15 November 2023.

 

This project has double-sided pages, namely lots 2A and 2B. Lot 2A includes the construction of Magbele and Maban bridges, while Lot 2B involves the rehabilitation of the road from Makoro Junction to Maban Bridge (14km).

 

The project in question is funded by the Government of Sierra Leone or the European Union, possibly by a CSE company.
