In response to a recent statement from the Minister of Information and Civic Education, Ibrahim D. Antar, commonly known as Hussein Antar, has publicly clarified his identity. The press release involved serious allegations and the arrest of a person named Hussain Antar, which led to confusion and numerous inquiries directed at Hussein Antar.

 

Ibrahim D. Antar asserts that he is not the Hussain Antar mentioned in the press statement, emphasizing that his name is spelled differently and he has no connection with the individual in question. Antar, a respected and law-abiding citizen of Sierra Leone, reiterated his commitment to upholding democratic values, the rule of law, and the nation's progress.

 

In his statement, Antar aimed to dispel any misconceptions and reaffirm his dedication to justice and integrity. He reassured the public of his continued support for Sierra Leone's democratic principles.

Following the press statement I have received inquiries as to who is this Hussain Antar?

 

I hereby wish to unequivocally inform the general public and assure all concerned that I am not the Hussain Antar. My common name, Hussein, is spelt differently from the person named in the statement. I have no connection with the named individual.
