Dr Forna Congratulates First Cohort of Locally-Trained Obstetrician-Gynaecologists
Dr. Fatu Forna, Executive Director of the Mama-Pikin Foundation, has congratulated the first cohort of locally-trained obstetrician-gynaecologists from the Princess Christian Maternity Hospital. All eight students in the program successfully graduated in October, achieving a 100% pass rate.
These doctors have now joined the Specialist Cadre of the African College of Surgeons after passing their final exams, held between October 15th and 17th.
Dr. Forna expressed pride in their accomplishment, attributing the success to teamwork and dedication. She also thanked the Ministry of Health for entrusting them with the program’s oversight.
