Manzu Advocates for Embracing Change and Supporting Emerging Talent in Sierra Leonean Music Industry

Veteran musician Manzu sheds light on Sierra Leone's music industry, urging unity among artists. Emphasizing his role in shaping the entertainment scene, he calls for support to the younger generation amid the Ambassador Kao Denero and Drizilik feud. Manzu advocates welcoming and celebrating emerging talents, stressing their significance for industry growth.

With urgency, he advises older entertainers to recognize and uplift new talents, asserting that clinging to the past hinders progress. Manzu declares, "Their time has come; our time has faded out," signaling a shift towards nurturing the future of Sierra Leonean music.

Addressing industry stagnation, he attributes it to resistance against modern trends by established artists, producers, stakeholders, and fans. Manzu urges adaptation to global music dynamics, stating, "Our Music Industry is stuck today because some household names deliberately deny the change and transformation." He underscores the necessity of embracing contemporary standards for industry progress.
