National Assets Commission Evaluates Presidential Lodge in Bo

The National Assets and Government’s Property Commission, alongside State House and key ministries, conducted an inspection of the Presidential Lodge in Bo to evaluate its condition and inventory government assets. The exercise, held last Friday, aimed to update the government's Asset Register and ensure proper management of public properties.

The team, led by Commissioner David Panda-Noah, included representatives from the Ministry of Works and Public Assets, the Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs, and other officials. Resident Minister of the South, John Abu, and Provincial Secretary Abu Bakarr Kamara welcomed the delegation.

Commissioner Panda-Noah highlighted the significance of the exercise, stating, “Our responsibility is to safeguard the government’s assets and ensure their proper management.” He confirmed that a detailed report on the lodge’s status would be submitted to the relevant authorities.

The inspection is part of a broader plan to strengthen the management and sustainability of public assets nationwide. The Commission expressed gratitude to local government representatives and ministry officials for their collaboration.
