NDA Celebrates Graduation of New Cadets, Including International Representation

The Nigerian government has reaffirmed its commitment to fully support the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in training highly skilled officers for the Armed Forces. This pledge was made by Vice President Kashim Shettima during the 34th Convocation Ceremony, which celebrated the graduation of cadets from the 71st Regular Course and various other military training programs in Kaduna.

The ceremony recognized the completion of five years of rigorous training for the cadets, which assessed their physical endurance, intellectual capacity, and leadership abilities. Dr. Ibrahim Kana, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Defence, delivered a message from the Vice President, commending the cadets for their bravery and discipline throughout their training.

Notably, the graduation included an allied cadet from Sierra Leone, highlighting the NDA's international collaborations. Degrees were conferred upon the cadets, including Bachelor's degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas, Master's Degrees, Doctoral Degrees, and Honorary Degrees.

In academic achievements, 13 cadets graduated with First-class honors, while others received Second-class Upper and Lower division degrees, alongside a number of Third-class degrees.
