
NP SL Limited Introduces New Management to Petroleum Regulatory Agency
NP SL Limited, a prominent oil marketing company in Sierra Leone, formally introduced its new management team to the Executive Chairman of the Petroleum Regulatory Agency (PRA) on June 3, 2024. The new team, led by Chief Executive Officer Mr. Saidu Mansaray, was welcomed by PRA’s Executive Chairman, Mr. Brima Baluwa Koroma.
During the introduction, Mr. Koroma expressed his enthusiasm and confidence in the new leadership. He acknowledged the exceptional services of the former CEO, Mr. Kobi Walker, and looked forward to maintaining strong collaboration between NP and the Agency.
Highlighting the PRA’s achievements, Mr. Koroma noted substantial revenue growth under his leadership, with figures rising from Le 473 billion in 2018 to Le 1.3 trillion between 2021 and 2023. He urged NP to expand its operations beyond the Western Area into districts such as Karene, Pujehun, Koinadugu, and Kailahun, to ensure broader service coverage.
Additionally, Mr. Koroma announced plans for a nationwide workshop aimed at guiding industry dealers and addressing unacceptable behavior among pump attendants. This initiative is part of the PRA’s commitment to maintaining high standards within the petroleum sector.
On behalf of NP-Sierra Leone Limited, Mr. Mansaray expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and support for the proposed workshop, emphasizing the importance of ethical conduct in the industry. He commended Mr. Koroma’s transformative efforts in the petroleum sector and pledged NP’s cooperation in achieving the Agency’s goals.
Mr. Mansaray also confirmed NP’s strategic plan to expand its retail outlets across Sierra Leone, with a focus on reaching underserved areas. This expansion is aligned with NP’s commitment to improving accessibility and service delivery throughout the country.
