The meeting emphasized the necessity of close collaboration between EduNations and the government to achieve mutual educational goals.

Key Discussion Points

Minister Sackey highlighted several critical areas during the meeting:

1. **Teacher Training and Support**: Both parties explored various methods to enhance teacher training and provide better support, including discussions on improving salary structures.

2. **Quality of Education**: A central topic was the overall enhancement of education quality in Sierra Leone, with particular attention to expanding access to underserved areas.

Minister Sackey expressed his appreciation for EduNations' contributions to the country's educational landscape, particularly praising their schools' strong performance in the northern regions. He emphasized the importance of knowledge-sharing between EduNations and government schools, advocating for collaborative efforts to uplift the standards of education.

 Appeal for Support and Volunteers

In addition to the discussions on educational strategies, Minister Sackey encouraged the US representatives to recruit more Peace Corps volunteers to support educational efforts in Sierra Leone. He acknowledged EduNations' schools as exemplary performers and suggested that their successful practices be shared with other schools in the region.

"I acknowledged and recognized that EduNations’ schools are among the best performers in the northern regions of Sierra Leone," stated Sackey. "I took the opportunity to request knowledge-sharing between the EduNations’ school leaders and those in government and government-assisted schools in their catchment areas. I further used this engagement to encourage the US team members to serve as ambassadors and recruit more Peace Corps volunteers to Sierra Leone."

EduNations' Contributions
