Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray, the former leader and presidential aspirant for the Alliance Democratic Party (ADP) in Sierra Leone’s 2018 election, has reunited with his sons in the United States. This joyous reunion follows his release on bail by a Sierra Leonean court, pending his appeal.
After spending significant time in the US, Mansaray shared heartfelt photos and reflections on social media. He expressed deep gratitude to the Sierra Leonean community for their unwavering support and prayers during his challenging times.
In his posts, Mansaray emotionally recounted his first meeting with his sons after nearly five years of separation. He shared a poignant moment with his eldest son, Hamed Dodi Mansaray, writing, "With my younger brother (Son), Hamed Dodi Mansaray, after almost five years without seeing each other." Similarly, he was struck by how much his younger son, Sahid Kamarainba Mansaray, had grown, saying, "My son Sahid Kamarainba Mansaray has grown so big. I can't lift him anymore. After almost five years without seeing each other. Thanks to you all for your prayers and support."
