The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) headquarters at Pademba Road, Freetown, has initiated an investigation into the perplexing death of esteemed police officer Tapan Tarawallie. Tarawallie, a former member of the Operational Support Division (OSD) known as Delta, was stationed at the Aberdeen Police station before his untimely demise at the Kingharman Road Satellite Hospital last Tuesday.

Reports indicate that Tarawallie was found in a car, severely debilitated and unable to move or communicate. This discovery has sparked numerous rumors and suspicions of foul play, with some speculating poisoning and others suggesting torture as possible causes of death.
