Sierra Leone Police Successfully Recapture Two Fugitives in the Eastern Region
Sierra Leone Police East successfully re-arrested two escapees from the Pademba Road Correctional Center following the failed coup on November 26, 2023.
Samuel Koroma, convicted for killing his father, was captured in Daru, while Inspector Mohamed Corneh detained Ibrahim Koroma for sexual penetration.
The Regional Police Commander-East, Commissioner Andrew M. Kamara, praised his personnel's dedication, expressing pride in their professionalism. The apprehended fugitives will be transferred to Freetown Correctional Center, and the search for others will persist.
