Sierra Leonean Lady Found Dead in Gambia: Seeking Answers and Closure

 

In a tragic incident reported on Friday, January 19, 2024, a young Sierra Leonean national, Loveta Kargbo, was found dead in the Republic of Gambia. Hailing from Congo Water, a sizable community in Freetown, Sierra Leone's capital, the news of her demise has left her family and friends in grief.

 

The deceased's remains are currently held at the Gambia Mortuary, as efforts are underway to trace her family in Freetown. Unfortunately, she is reported to have no family in Gambia, leaving officials there with the task of locating her next of kin.
