SLFA names new members to Finance and Youth Football Committees
The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced new appointments to its Finance Committee and Youth Football Committee, a move aimed at strengthening governance, improving transparency, and speeding up football development across the country.
The Finance Committee will be chaired by Babadi Kamara, with Abdulai Sesay appointed as Vice Chairman. Other members of the committee include Brian Shyllon, George Moore, and Matty Annette Kamara. The committee is expected to play a key role in ensuring sound financial management within the association.
Meanwhile, the Youth Football Committee will be led by Mohamed Sorie Jalloh as Chairman, with Mohamed Pateh Jabbie serving as Vice Chairman. Members of the committee include Balah Kargbo, Alhaji Salifu, Jane Turay, Alphan Konneh, and Adekalie Kamara. Their focus will be on promoting sustainable youth football programmes and nurturing young talent nationwide.
In a statement, the SLFA Executive Committee congratulated all appointees and expressed confidence in their experience, professionalism, and dedication to the growth of football in Sierra Leone. The association said it looks forward to their contributions toward effective administration, responsible financial oversight, and long-term youth football development.
