In Bo City, tensions are escalating as residents demand a thorough investigation into a simmering dispute between former mayor Harold Logie Tucker and current mayor Kobba Musa concerning a cluster of stores located in the Shellmingo area.

The controversy erupted when Tucker accused Mayor Musa of harassment and alleged forceful seizure of the stores he had invested in over the years. These stores, strategically positioned around public toilets constructed during Tucker's tenure, have now become the epicenter of a bitter feud.

Initial inquiries revealed that the Bo City Council had erected these public facilities years ago, leading to a protracted legal battle with Lawyer Charles Francis Margai, a local resident. The courts eventually ruled in favor of repurposing the toilets and imposed a fine of Twenty-Seven Million Old Leones on the council for damages incurred. While Chief Administrator Veronica Fortune partially settled the fine, tensions escalated further when Mayor Musa launched investigations into council-owned properties, including the disputed stores.

However, the ownership status of these stores remains ambiguous, fueling the ongoing discord between Tucker and Musa. Although the matter has been formally reported to the authorities, the sluggish pace of the investigation has drawn sharp criticism from residents, who fear its adverse effects on local development initiatives.

Recently, unidentified individuals vandalized Mayor Musa's office, exacerbating the growing apprehension within Bo City.
