Waterloo Police Apprehend 12 Escapees from Pademba Road Prison
Responding to intelligence, the Waterloo Police Division successfully apprehended twelve individuals who had fled the Pademba Road Male Correctional Center in Freetown during a prison break on Sunday, November 27, 2023.
Notably, some of the captured inmates were facing charges related to murder and other serious criminal offenses.
The Waterloo Police Division maintains a composed environment with the establishment of multiple checkpoints staffed by a collaborative effort of both military and police personnel.
