In a recent legal development in the United States, 27-year-old Allieu Bayoh has been sentenced to 35 years in prison for his involvement in a series of aggravated robberies in the state of Texas. The verdict comes after Bayoh pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated robbery earlier this week, admitting to his participation in a string of criminal activities.

The criminal incidents unfolded on November 26, 2021, when Bayoh, armed with a firearm, targeted a Verizon store in Frisco. During the robbery, he seized numerous cell phones, tablets, and even stole a victim's car. Law enforcement intervened, discovering Bayoh the following day in the stolen vehicle, where they recovered items from the initial robbery, including a victim's wallet and tablet. Despite being taken into custody, Bayoh resumed his criminal activities after posting bond on March 7, 2022.

Bayoh's criminal spree continued with another armed robbery at the same Frisco Verizon store on May 16, 2022. Only ten days later, he committed a third robbery, this time at an AT&T Store in Frisco. Law enforcement traced Bayoh to an address associated with him, leading to the discovery of the vehicle used in the AT&T Store robbery, along with electronic devices and a loaded Glock firearm.

Expressing concern over the repeat offenses, Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis remarked, "This guy committed armed robbery not once, not twice, but three times. Even switching cell phone providers didn’t help him escape the long arm of the law." Following a trial, a Collin County jury delivered a decisive verdict, sentencing Bayoh to 35 years in prison for his involvement in the series of aggravated robberies.
