"APRM Executive Secretary to Lead Discussions on African Governance in Johannesburg"
Mohamed Sheshu Sheriff, the Executive Secretary of Sierra Leone’s APRM National Secretariat, is heading to Johannesburg, South Africa, for key governance forums.
He will attend the "6th APRM Annual Methodology Forum: National Structures Retreat" from May 21-22, 2024, aimed at improving the effectiveness of national structures in implementing the APRM mandate. Key topics include addressing resource limitations, planning challenges, and coordination issues. Sheriff will also join a high-level taskforce on selecting APR Panel of Eminent Persons on May 23 and participate in the Africa Day High-Level Symposium on May 24, focusing on global governance and Africa’s responses. Accompanying him is Mohamed Alpha Koroma, Programme Assistant at the APRM National Secretariat.
