Blackburn Rovers Sign Sierra Leone Striker Augustus Kargbo
Blackburn Rovers have secured the signing of Sierra Leone forward Augustus Kargbo from Italian club Cesena for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old, who has earned 21 international caps, has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the club. Kargbo played a key role in Cesena’s promotion to Serie B last season and has previously featured for Campobasso and Crotone, along with loan spells at Roccella and Reggiana.
This season, he scored three goals in 18 appearances for Cesena, all coming within the first nine matches of the campaign. Kargbo becomes Blackburn’s third new signing of the month as they look to strengthen their squad.
