Breaking news: Sierra Leone Premier League to resume this weekend after court lifts suspension
Justice Adrian Fisher has quashed an injunction by a managing member of the Kamboi Eagles Football Club against the Sierra Leone Premier League, now known as the Leone Rock Premier League.
The 2023/2024 Leone Rock Premier League resumes across the country this weekend.
This development is a result of the league's recent legal setback. Just a week ago, the Supreme Court of Sierra Leone issued a sweeping interim injunction suspending all Sierra Leone Premier League matches until further notice.
The reason for the drastic measure was the growing concern about alleged irregularities in league operations.
