Center for Accountability and Rule of Law Director Praises President Bio for Judiciary Reforms
The Director of the Center for Accountability and Rule of Law, Ibrahim Tommy, has commended President Julius Maada Bio for enacting significant reforms to strengthen Sierra Leone’s judiciary system.
Tommy acknowledged the president’s efforts to improve the working conditions of judges, magistrates, and other judicial officials, noting that these reforms have enhanced the functioning of the justice sector across the country.
“We now have more judges serving in remote areas than ever before,” Tommy stated, emphasizing the government’s commitment to ensuring greater access to justice, particularly in rural regions.
He further highlighted the administration’s role in fostering an environment that supports reforms, contributing to a more equitable and fair justice system for all Sierra Leoneans.
These judiciary reforms are part of a broader initiative by President Bio’s government to promote good governance and uphold the rule of law.
