ECSL Election Workers Express Frustration Due to Payment Delays

After the recent multi-tier elections, ECSL Adhoc Staff, who risked their lives for the nation during polling, express disappointment in the treatment from Rokel Commercial Bank staff assigned by UNDP and ECSL Management for fund disbursement. Anonymous ad-hoc workers cite inhumane treatment, delayed stipends, and irrational bureaucracy in fund receipt. They criticize the low stipend amounts, signing contracts post-service, and highlight weaknesses in state institutions.

Calling for a review of Human Resource Management in election staffing, they feel exploited despite ensuring free, fair, and credible elections. Suggesting collaboration with Afrimoney instead of Rokel Simkopor, they note verification issues. Anonymously, they propose Afrimoney to ease stipend delays, emphasize the lack of logistics and technical support during elections, and express frustration at the absence of appreciation for their dedicated service.
