Foreign Affairs Minister Tim Kabba Returns Triumphant from 2024 Hajj Pilgrimage

On June 26, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Alhaji Musa Timothy Kabba, received a warm welcome upon his return from the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage in the Holy Land of Mecca, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. His arrival at the ministry was marked by a reception attended by his Deputy, Mrs. Francess P Alghali, Director General and Ambassador at Large Dr. Victoria Sulimani, and other staff members.

Expressing gratitude, Alhaji Musa Timothy Kabba thanked Allah for the opportunity to fulfill one of Islam's fundamental pillars. He reflected on the pilgrimage as a miraculous experience, especially given the challenges faced by the massive congregation of over three million pilgrims, where tragically, more than a thousand lost their lives.

"As a man of faith, I humbly thank Allah for granting me the privilege to witness the Holy Kaaba. My journey has been filled with extraordinary blessings, and I am here today because of my unwavering faith and trust in Him," Minister Kabba remarked.

Acknowledging the efforts of his Deputy and Director General in managing affairs during his absence, Minister Kabba extended gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the honor bestowed upon him and other Sierra Leonean pilgrims.

In his address, Minister Kabba encouraged all citizens to embrace positivity and uphold the foundational values of faith, love, humility, and service to humanity.
