Health Minister Dr. Austin Demby Launches Sierra Leone Chapter of African Institute of Public Health Professionals

On April 25, 2025, Sierra Leone’s Minister of Health, Dr. Austin Demby, officially launched the Sierra Leone chapter of the African Institute of Public Health Professionals (AIPHP) in Freetown. The event marked a significant milestone in the country’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its public health sector.

 

Dr. Demby emphasized that the launch was not only a moment of personal achievement for the new inductees but also a major step forward in advancing public health across Sierra Leone and the African continent.
