Leone Stars Land in Zambia for Upcoming AFCON Qualifier
Sierra Leone’s national football team, the Leone Stars, has arrived in Zambia in preparation for their crucial Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against the Zambian team, the Chipolopolo.
The team touched down at Ndola International Airport on Saturday at 11:55 AM local time, arriving on an Ethiopian Airlines flight. They have checked into the Protea Hotel in Ndola to begin their preparations for the match.
The highly anticipated game is scheduled for Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 9:00 PM local time at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
