Sierra Leone's Minister of Health and Sanitation, Austin Demby, recently shared an enlightening encounter with Michel Sidibe, former under-secretary-general at the United Nations and UNAIDS executive, addressing the challenges of Kush in the country.

 

This revelation unfolded during an unplanned meeting at Addis Ababa's Skyview Hotel, where Minister Demby and Sidibe engaged in a brief yet impactful five-minute discussion. Their conversation delved into crucial strategies for effectively addressing the Kush issue in the region.

 

"In the hallways of the Skyview Hotel in Addis, I crossed paths with my good friend and brother, Michel Sidibe. In just 5 minutes, we explored tapping into the incredible African diaspora and discussed public approaches to dealing with Kush in the region," shared Minister Demby.

 

This collaborative effort between the Sierra Leonean Health Minister and the experienced former UN official underscores their commitment to finding innovative solutions for the challenges posed by Kush.
