
National Beach Volleyball Championship Kicks Off in Freetown with Fierce Competition
The 2025 National Beach Volleyball Championship has officially begun at the Africell Beach Volleyball Court in Freetown, bringing together top teams from across Sierra Leone in a thrilling three-day tournament.
Organized by the Sierra Leone Volleyball Federation (SLVF) and sponsored by Africell, the event features 15 male teams and 16 female teams vying for the championship title. The tournament, which runs until March 2, has already attracted enthusiastic spectators eager to witness the high-energy matches.
The Ministry of Sports, the National Sports Authority, the National Olympic Committee of Sierra Leone, and the Western Volleyball Association have collaborated to ensure a successful championship.
