President Bio Opts Out of Participation in Abu Dhabi's Climate Change Summit This Year
Sierra Leone's Embassy in Abu Dhabi extends its regards to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.
Unfortunately, President Bio won't be attending COP28 due to ongoing security concerns, and Dr. Kandeh Kolleh Yumkella, Chairman of the Presidential Initiative for Climate Change, Renewable Energy, and Food Security, has been appointed as the head of the Sierra Leone delegation.
The embassy conveys President Bio's regrets and seeks the usual courtesies for the appointed delegation, including Mr. Jiwoh E. Abdulai, Mrs. Francess Piagie Alghali, and Mr. Karmoh K. Conteh.
