President Bio's brother passes away, laid to rest
President Dr. Julius Murda Bio along with his family, mourners, and mourners attended the funeral mass of his brother, the late Josie Michael Bio, who passed away from Mother Earth on October 1, 2023 at the age of 60.
Father Samuel von Tucker focused his homily on the first and second readings of the Mass from the Book of Wisdom 3:6-9 and Romans 14:7-9, 10C-12. , reminded mourners and families: They tell us what we should care about in our lives and point out that "there is a resurrection for those who believe in the Lord."
The man of God said that the assurance of resurrection rests in the hands of those who believe and follow the ways of the Lord. He realized that the closer a person comes to God, the more challenges there will be on the road to righteousness and the more testimonies they will have to overcome.
Rev. Tucker said it had been a difficult time for the Bio family, but acknowledged that "death is inevitable." He prayed to God for forgiveness of sins and acceptance of the exaltation of the deceased.

The President prayed that God would grant his late brother eternal life and that God would give his family the strength to continue to protect his late brother's children. He urged his family to comfort themselves in the knowledge that God had taken the soul of their deceased brother.
The clergy of St. Joseph's Catholic Church also thanked President Bio for his continued support and dedication to the Catholic Church and its priests, for his gift to the Church of the sacraments, including the Ciborium, the Chalice, the Coat of Arms, and the Censer. He expressed his gratitude.
The Church recognized the fact that love is better expressed in deeds than in false words, and emphasized that love is better expressed in deeds, as demonstrated by His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio.
The clergy agree that President Bio expressed faith and fear of God and was an excellent leader in all respects.
