Sierra Leone's Ministry of Finance has officially announced that the Minister of Finance, Sheku Ahmed Fantamadi Bangura, will deliver the much-awaited 2024 National Budget and Economic and Fiscal Policy Statement.

The presentation is scheduled to take place on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Parliament House in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

The event marks an important milestone for the country as it develops a fiscal roadmap and policies that will guide the country's economic strategy for the coming year. The announcements are expected to cover a wide range of sectors and cover important aspects such as financial planning, economic outlook, investment strategies and social initiatives.

The Ministry invited a wide range of stakeholders, including election officials, heads of ministries and ministries and agencies (MDAs), state-owned enterprises, representatives of development partners and agencies, non-governmental organizations, and district households. Members of monitoring committees, community representatives, non-state actors, other civil society organizations and the public. We invite you to join us and experience this important presentation.
