Sierra Leonean Man Passes Away in Australia After Prolonged Kidney Illness
Mr. Lamin Kamara, a Sierra Leonean living in Australia, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Westmead Hospital after a lengthy battle with kidney complications.
Lamin had been undergoing dialysis treatments for kidney failure over the past three years. Unfortunately, his health worsened due to internal bleeding and ruptured arteries. After consultations with his medical team, it was determined that no further treatments would improve his condition. With great sadness, his family made the difficult decision to discontinue life support, allowing him to pass peacefully.
Lamin is survived by his mother, Mrs. Fatmata Sesay, and his brothers, Daniel and Alusine Kamara. The family appreciates the outpouring of love and support they have received and requests continued prayers during this difficult time.
Those wishing to express their condolences can contact Daniel Kamara or visit the family at the funeral home in Marsden Park. Details of the funeral will be shared in the coming days.
