SLFA Officials Welcome San Pedro FC to Bo Ahead of CAF Champions League Clash with Bo Rangers

On August 15, 2024, the Sierra Leone Footbal Association (SLFA) warmly welcomed the Ivorian team, San Pedro FC, as they arrived in Bo City for their upcoming CAF Champions League preliminary round match against Bo Rangers.

SLFA President, Thomas Daddy Brima, led the Bo Rangers team in extending a cordial reception to their Ivorian opponents, assuring them of the association’s full support during their stay. Confident in Bo Rangers' prospects, Brima expressed his optimism, saying, “My Executive Committee Members and I wish Bo Rangers a resounding victory in their first preliminary CAF Championship match against the Ivorians.”

The much-anticipated match is scheduled for Saturday, August 17th, at the Southern Arena in Bo.

Bo Rangers, the reigning three-time champions of the Sierra Leone Premier League, earned their place in the CAF Champions League by clinching the domestic title. Their adversaries, San Pedro FC, are a well-established team with a strong track record in Ivorian football.

The winner of the Bo Rangers-San Pedro fixture will advance to the second preliminary round, where they will face the winner of the Libya 2 vs Sudan’s Al-Hilal match.

The first leg of the Bo Rangers-San Pedro encounter will be held in Sierra Leone, with the return leg set to take place in Ivory Coast.
