US Embassy in Freetown temporarily closed for Columbus Day

 

The U.S. Embassy in Freetown has temporarily closed its operations to Sierra Leonean nationals on Monday, October 9, 2023, in observance of Columbus Day.

 

The Embassy will reopen to the public during normal business hours starting Tuesday, October 9, 2023.

 

 

"The U.S. Embassy will be closed for official business today, October 9th, in honor of the American holiday Columbus Day. The Embassy will reopen tomorrow, October 10th," the embassy said. said a statement posted on its Facebook page.
