Mohamed Buya Turay Issues Disclaimer on Fake Facebook Page Targeting Boss LA
Mohamed Buya Turay, a forward for the Sierra Leone National Football Team, has publicly distanced himself from a fraudulent Facebook page impersonating him and targeting peace ambassador LAJ. This fake page, named “Suad Buya Turay,” has been disseminating baseless accusations against various individuals, with LAJ being the most recent target.
Buya Turay addressed the issue through his official Facebook account, clarifying that the “Suad Buya Turay” page is fake and has no connection to him. He urged the public to disregard any content posted by this fraudulent page, emphasizing that the information is entirely false and not representative of him.
In a message to his fans, Buya Turay expressed his frustration: “I woke up this morning to messages about fake accounts attacking someone I don’t even know and trying to ruin their reputation. Some people may have seen a fake video of me and assumed it’s real, but I won’t dwell on that anymore.”
He further asserted, “I want to be absolutely clear: I am Mohamed Buya Turay, and any fake accounts using my name are not created by me. I have nothing to do with them.”
Buya Turay concluded his message with a call for accountability for those responsible for the fake accounts and encouraged his fans to focus on his authentic social media presence.
