In a statement from State House, President Bio expressed his hope for strengthened relations between Sierra Leone and the United States under Trump’s leadership. He highlighted his anticipation for greater collaboration on issues like sustainable development, economic growth, the reinforcement of democratic institutions, and global peace initiatives.

President Bio also acknowledged outgoing President Joe Biden, commending his dedication to advancing the partnership between the United States and Sierra Leone based on mutual respect and shared values.
