The US Embassy in Freetown has announced the launch of a new platform for scheduling visa appointments, effective August 16, 2024. This change means that applicants will no longer use the UStraveldocs system for booking their appointments.

To ensure a smooth transition of appointment and payment information to the new system, the Embassy advises applicants to take the following steps as soon as possible:

- Ensure all information in your profile is accurate and complete. If any corrections are needed, update your profile immediately.

- If you have already paid your visa fee but have not linked it to your profile, log in and associate your payment by entering the receipt number during step 8 of the scheduling process.

- For group coordinators or families, each dependent/applicant must have a unique email address. This may require updating the current email addresses listed.

For assistance with updating your information, applicants can contact the Embassy's call center. Additionally, the Embassy encourages everyone to monitor their Facebook page and official website for the latest updates on these changes.
