Ahmadiya Student Victimized in Alleged Theft Incident, Faces Assault and Stripping

In Sembehun Nancy Tucker, Bagruwa Chiefdom, Moyamba District, a 17-year-old student named Henry Minah faced a challenging situation at Ahmadiyya Muslim Senior Secondary School. Accused of theft and assault on cold drinks from a local shop, Henry became the center of attention.

Madam Esther, owner of the bar and restaurant, had been grappling with theft issues for months. Taking proactive measures, she enlisted the help of Sullay to keep an eye on the shop during night shifts. It was during one of these shifts that Sullay caught Henry Minah around 1 am, leading to a gathering of concerned onlookers.

Responding to the situation, Henry was handed over to the police for further investigation into the alleged theft and assault. This incident has sparked discussions about the appropriateness of using force and public shaming in addressing suspected crimes, emphasizing the need to respect the legal process.
