In a proactive move to combat drug abuse, Assistant Inspector General of Police, Brima Kanneh, spearheaded the apprehension of Fatmata Dumbuya, a female police officer stationed at the Sahn Malen police station under Pujehun Division in Sierra Leone.

 

During a police operation, Dumbuya was discovered in possession of sixty wraps of Kush, a potent form of cannabis. This alarming discovery has prompted immediate disciplinary action and potential criminal charges against the officer.

 

AIG Brima Kanneh unequivocally denounced Dumbuya’s actions as a violation of the core values and integrity of the police force. He reassured the public of thorough investigations and swift justice.
